A time in which each scene corresponds to the movement of what happens in that specific movement’s moment.


Allowing time for both large and small movements to appear in the same way in a concrete duration for each of them.


A defined duration has a beginning and an end with a defined “before” and “after”. During that time, the “now” present can be defined according to the importance that is being given to that moment; according to what was experienced or what happens in that time while it lasts.

The reflections paint the wave when the movement of the sea re-produces the textile of a large scarf that someone is holding in a shared space; shared between the still and the motion of the single-layer-image that doesn’t divide the above and below surfaces.


A shared space, or an assemblage of things, linked to facts, being geographical, meteorological or other. Facts that despite being in movement, are recognizable and make it possible to differentiate one moment from another, making those specific.


The wave I mentioned before is not a specific wave, as the movement of the sea was bringing the waves when they were already starting to break, but at the same time it is:


that textile is held by someone and also loosened by the movement of the sea, which makes them a single space-moment like these two words that are put together with a hyphen between them to form one whose meaning is different from the two words separately.


Rather than something specific, it's again a specific relationship of things that doesn’t have an exact translation in words but it is exact in the meaning of what happens.





A surface returns the reflection of the textile while an image is divided and multiplied, being continuously variable as it’s in constant movement. An indefinite and not unique movement.

The weight of the leaves of a tree planted on the border of a river is different from the weight of the water, so the reflection of those leaves on the water will have a different movement in the time of the image even if they belong to the same tree.
